- Our under driven
UD series have hydraulic double acting
clamp cylinders on a fabricated vee shaped
beam ensuring the clamping force over the
entire length of the cutting area. Clamping
pressure is automatically controlled by the
cutting pressure, double acting cylinders
lift the clamp bar of the sheared material
allowing the sheared material to be pushed
away by the top blade as it returns to its
upper position. (This eliminates creases in
light material caused by the head blade rubbing
on the return stroke).
